نویسندگان

چکیده

Introduction: Pressure injuries (LPP) associated with non-invasive ventilation have negative consequences for the user and health system, being considered a public problem. The application of preventive measures, recognition risk factors early identification development LPP is first step towards reducing its incidence. Objective: To map prevention strategies NIV-associated facial injuries. Material methods: Scoping review guided by Joanna Briggs Institute methodology, research in MEDLINE, CINAHL (via Ebsco) Academic Search Complete. Two independent reviewers analyzed study research, subsequently extracted synthesized data. Results: Of total 65 studies, 6 met inclusion criteria. Three areas intervention were identified this context: physical barriers between skin mask, stimulation skin's defense mechanisms, protocol aimed at nursing interventions. Conclusions: barriers, mechanisms are effective pressure injuries, also having preventative impact on pain discomfort reduction costs. However, further studies should be carried out area order to standardize care practices.
